Just play floyd music, tribute bands suck they won't do the band any justice. Hey if you wanna cover floyd then so be it, but keep it to yourself.

Yes, cover it and only listen to it in your house, behind locked doors and soundproof walls, and when you aren't listening to it, keep it in a safe.

I've heard from several people that they're absolute shite. Not a patch on the Aussie Floyd. Apparently.

Cool

i have dont get me wrong, some of them are ok and sound like floyd but you can't beat the real thing! which it doesn't look likely to happen again but i hope so. i was fortunate enough to see floyd in rotterdam on 4/9/94 i thank god that i realised then this was my only chance to see floyd

Hey whats up, I am new here. Yeah I am a major Pink Floyd fan, but the sad thing is I have not seen a Floyd concert because I am too young. But, I did get to see "Think Pink" and yeah they are really really good. Granted they are not the real "Pink Floyd" but they do rock. They played like 3 hours worth of Floyd and it sounded really good. So yeah I gave them credit for being a really good Pink Floyd cover band.

Welcome indeed!

Granted, it's the only way we're getting Live Floyd sounds, but if it has only been tribute bands heard, how can one possibly compare them, if ever, to the REAL Pink Floyd.

[Mischief on] But who ARE the real Pink Floyd anyway?[/Mischief off]

People want the Pink Floyd sound but the reason their sound got so famous cause it was original, so when other people try and copy it, it isn't as influential.

Plus it is no fun to hear some one else play the original. It's like Pepsi copying Vanilla Coke and making Vanilla Pepsi
