Did pinkfloyd ever release concert footage of the wall?

i'd actually like to know this too, if it wasn't then i think it should be their next release...either that or a live dark side CD

Live Dark Side? P.U.L.S.E....

There were plans for a release of live concert footage of one of the shows at Nassau Colisseum in New York. Unfortunately, the wrong type of tape was used to record the concert and the prints came out fuzzy, blurred or otherwise obscured. This footage, however, is available to the enterprising Pink Floyd fan. Just look for a bootleg video entitled Nassau Colisseum. Don't expect to actually be able to tell Roger from a pinkish black blob, but the sound quality isn't all that bad.

I have a copy and it's actually very good.

On VH1's "Behind the Wall" there seemed to be a lot of footage of one of the Wall shows but I'm not sure which show it's from. I don't think they've ever officially released any of the performance footage aside from the clips you might come across in the VH1 documentary and the snippets from the DVD for the Wall movie (I think). It would be interesting to get a hold of a complete show. There's always been talk that Roger Waters might try to put out a stage production similar to what Pete Townshend did with "Tommy," but I wouldn't hold my breath. Besides, I would hate to hear the songs from The Wall turned into showtunes.

Don't buy bootlegs, especially not ones you can trade for/download for free, as the makers intended. You're just lining the pockets of greedy and unscrupulous retailers otherwise.
