Re: Favourite tracks from this era

Roger is brilliant, yet an asshole as was said before. Lots of good material from this period. I find the songs that David had more involvement in to be the best ones... i.e Dogs, Comfortably Numb, Not Now John (great overlooked guitar solo here). Those would be my top cuts from each album. I was kind of disappointed they chose Fletcher Memorial Home on Echoes as the song from TFC. That album is weak, but surely has better moments. Oh well.

Re: Favourite tracks from this era

hmm..seeing as this is basically the only era of Floyd I like, this is right up my alley

1. Pigs (3 Different Ones)
2. The Thin Ice
3. Mother
4. Empty Spaces/What Shall We Do Now?
5. One of My Turns
6. Don't Leave Me Now
7. Hey You
8. Nobody Home
9. Comfortably Numb
10. The Gunner's Dream
11. Fletcher Memorial Home
12. The Final Cut
13. Your Possible Pasts

Although I should say, that I can't really separate the best songs from The Wall since I think it works best as a musical journey. It's hard for me to say which song was the best because I think it's the power and weight of the entire experience that moves me

Re: Favourite tracks from this era

I like all the songs where ole' Rog whines about his daddy.

That would be about 90% of them right.

Re: Favourite tracks from this era

The two songs are connected by a guitar solo from Snowy White.
