Pink Floyd-The Art.

Hey, folks,

is it me, or are most of Pink Floyd's posters kinda dull? I mean, i looked at some of the other bands' posters, like Led Zeppelin, and the drawings and paintings they had were pretty damn good. But when it comes to Pink Floyd, it's always The Goose Walking Hammers or The Headmaster among the other cartoons and what-not. Some of them are OK, but i mean...still.
So has anybody drawn, painted or done anything on or about Pink Floyd? If you have, why don't you post it here? I'd like to see what other people have done.
I drew David Gilmour a couple of nights ago, so when i get my brother to help me work out how to get digital photos onto the computer i'll post it on here.

Ccenzo.

I always thought that Storm Thorgerson produced for Pink Floyd some truly amazing pieces of artwork. Now the posters we usually see are the ones you mention above but I think that there is an incredible amount of artwork by Storm which would make awesome posters.

By the way various people already posted here some of their work, mostly Photoshop stuff, try and *search*, you will find some decent material.

Oh, that's called 'shadow'. S-H-A-D-O-W. Yes?
It's supposed to make the image itself stand out a bit more. But considering i'm still at this young and tender age i think that it's ok.

Meh, i dunno. Jesus H. Christ, it's the actual drawing of David i wanna know about, not the bloody shadow. Anyway, if you look at the Special Q Edition of Pink Floyd, on the front the shadow goes around everybody's head like that, but i couldn't be bothered drawing the other guys so i left it like that.

Don't feel sick.. It's pretty good.. a lot better than I could do.

Randy Bachman was the lead guitar/singer for The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive.
