Do we keep or delete the 'Survivor' threads?

Because they're a pain in the arse.

What the ****? Who are you people to decide the Survivor threads are annoying? We're just participating in a game since there is no good discussion on these boards. If you want to free up the boards stop people from taking every thread off the topic. I swear this board is run ass backwards at times. I'm sure I'll be banned for my comments but someone needs to speak some sense around here.

Well, if that's the attitude I'm going to get from people around here I think I will find another board.

I may not have been here a while but that doesn't make my opinion any less valid and that doesn't mean I don't want to make this site a better place.

Seriously, I don't get why people deem survivor threads a waste of space when practically every thread on this forum is dragged off topic with stupid, senseless comments. Don't you think that is a bigger problem then a harmless game?

Nobody has any qualms with the content of the individual threads, merely that there were so many of them and with some of our members still on 56k modems, it makes sense to not have masses of threads essentially fulfilling the same function, don't you think? There is no issue at all if you want to have a single thread devoted to your game, but it truly does slow everything on this site down having what amounts to a bunch of useless repetitive clutter (no offence) and which is why there is a general rule regarding having only 4 lines per sig, also.

And please don't give it the 'expect I'll get banned' crap.

Ok, I understand that you don't want a bunch of threads clogging up the place but I don't see why all threads were deleted. You could have kept the most recent one open and then deleted that when we moved on to the next round.

I just don't understand why those particular threads are singled out when there is a lot of other stuff that can be deleted to make the forums run smoother for everyone. I'm not trying to be a smart ass but I really don't understand why so many pointless posts are allowed when they are a bigger inconvenience in my opinion.

I thought I would have been banned for saying the F word because I didn't realize it would have been filtered.
