What we already see will become worse, good music will die out because of the moreprofit making commercial crap the dumb masses like to buy.

For a while yes, but then I'm hoping that a reemergence of rock will turn the music industry around.

It will generally be rubbish. Music will be of secondary importance to the videos. Musical standards will deteriorate even further with more emphasis on effects. Image and fashion will be the main priority of record companies looking for a fast buck.
