Fuzz On Time

do todays dunlops fuzz faces, sound close to the arbiter fuzz face gilmour uses on Time? and if so like 1/10 how close.

Would u guys say the Boss Fuzz3 is closer sounding to the arbiter fuzz face, than the dunlop fuzz face,? and if so how close 1/10

Haha, this is getting obscure..

The Boss Fuzz is was not sounding like the Fuzz Face.

If you want fuzz face sounds, get an original fuzz face, or the JD Fuzz Face.

Or take a sharp pencil and poke a few holes in your speaker cones..

Yeah, I just use a slightly compressed big muff, and I get very nice sounds out of it.

But, do NOT touch a Bozz FZ3 pedal. You will get herpes.. Or something.

I use a blues driver for everything! Unfortunately... I don't have one yet! lol... but I will be using it for everything once i have it. I find that Dave's tone sometimes is almost so harsh that it sounds like he is using a wah all the way in the up position. So aggressive sounding, it's hard to get that sound straight out of the guitar unless you crank the presence and tone knobs on the amp.
