It's very difficult actually (and also probably senseless). What is exactly "Pink Floyd style"? Arnold Layne? Another Brick In The Wall? Echoes? Learning To Fly? The Great Gig In The Sky? Too much different stuff in the so-called Pink Floyd style. If forced I would say one song written by the whole band, or at least the Gilmour-Waters-Wright trio: so I'd say Echoes or Shine On. As an album, for the same reasons, maybe Dark Side Of The Moon.

my first album was delicate sound of thunder.. i don,t know when exactly but when i was 7-8-9 i loved the song shine on an late all pink music... so i think the song of pink is shine on (first part more commercial and second part more "pinkfloydsound") no?

No it's totally anticommercial IMO. The whole album is actually.

I totally understand your feelings about the early (post-Barrett) Floyd. Besides that, I think everbody can understand what you type easily enough; yet you have a problem with , and ' but I'm pretty confident that you can work on it Last edited by mad yannis; 11-04-2004 at 11:27 AM.

I think the song that best sums up floyd has to be Echoes. It has nearly every element of other Roger-era Floyd songs. Quiet intro that builds up Easy to listen to verse and chorus Beautiful voice harmonies Lyrics are observation of society Great guitar work Great drum work Great keyboard work Great bass work Goes into something completely different Weird noises and sound effects Trippy atmospheres Guitar solos Back to verses and chorus It has nearly every element of Floyd in it. So there you go.
