*Raises hand to wipe tear from his eye*

Hi, my name is Donny, and I've never seen Pink Floyd perform live in concert.

I got into PF right after The Division Bell tour. It was around my sophomore year in high school, and Pink Floyd had JUST played Nashville, Tennessee a few months beforehand. I live in Memphis, Tennessee, two hundred miles away. I've kicked myself repeatedly ever since.

The closest I've gotten is seeing Roger three times, in St. Louis, Nashville, and Atlanta. I was very lucky, however, to be at the Atlanta show. Mr. Rick Wright and his wife have a house in Atlanta, and they attended the concert. Rick went backstage afterward. I didn't know any of this at the time of the show, but found out all about it on some Floyd message board later.

Mr. Gilmour's latest thoughts on the unlikelihood of any more Floyd activity make me quite sad. But, as it has been pointed out, Roger is, of course, quite active, Dave has these solo shows popping up all of the time, and apparently Rick will be unleashing something new upon us soon.

Cheers,
-Donny

I have never been to Pink Floyd concerts. No wonder, I`m only 17. And it looks like I will never see their perfomances live. Nobody wants to organaise their gigs in Ukraine. Mr.Waters will have 2 concerts in Russia and 1 in Poland in the next year, it`s close at hand but still abroad. So I guess everything I can do is enjoy their sounds and visuals on the records.

I'm 31 and have listened to Floyd since I was 14, and have never seen them in concert. But it doesn't make us any less of Floydians.

Sadly, I too became a fan too late in order to see PF in concert. I also got into RW's work too late to see him in concert, either. My only hope is to talk one of the other two into doing some gigs outside of England!

Maybe Mr. Wright will feel like doing a few shows in conjunction with his new album? I hope so...because I'm sending him a letter where I'm going to try to put the idea in his head...

wow. interesting. I thought I was an only Ukrainian to love Pink Floyd. As I see, there are other fans foorm the Ukraine.

Myself, I am from Lviv originally, born and raised until I moved to Ccanada at 12. I have seen Roger Waters live in Berlin '90. YES, THE biggest concert ever, and I was only 6 years old with my father. You'd think it was bad due to all the people, but it was actually fun from what I remember and my dad was psyched. Thats when I got hooked.

Im positive that none of the members will tour Ukraine, your best chance is Moscow or Warsaw maybe, bt again, I doubt it. Just listen to their albums and pretend you're there.

Cheers.

I've only been a Floyd fan for 8 months, so naturally, I haven't seen them live. But I did see a tribute band and the concert was awesome.

I have not seen Pink Floyd live either, I guess I was born ten years to late to actually have the chance to see them live. I was not very into PF in 94 when they played in Norway, but I have talked to a lot of people that were there those two wonderful nights. But I'm wathing the PULSE concert on tape as often as I can, just to get the fealing. But I'm going to Gilmour in January and Waters at Wembley in June, and I'm really looking forward to the concerts.

I've never honored Pink Floyd or any of it's subdivisions with my presence at a concert. But I think I will give him/them the priviledge the next time a get a chance to.

Well, I have seen Floyd 3 times. Twice in Cleveland. (Sorry Astronomy!) And once in Columbus. Both cities are in Ohio for those who don't know. And I've seen Roger once in Columbus. Great times!! Hopefully, we will all get one last look at Floyd, with or without Roger, before the sands of time catch up with them. Every Floyd fan deserves it.

Sad story actually.
I became a fan RIGHT AFTER they did concerts in Russia. In 1989 they performed 5 nights in Moscow, and then immediately after that DSoT was released in Russia. I heard a record and got hooked
So I had a chance to see them (a small chance in fact as I was only 14 then and my parents would hardy let me go to Moscow to see PF), but back then I have no idea what I missed ;((
I will deff. see Rog when he will tour Russia next year (fingers crossed).
But as I'm a Gilmo'Who' I would prefer to see BDG instead of course... Besides, I don't think Rog will play a lot of PF tunes...
Life is hard sometimes, innit ?

I saw the PULSE tour so I'm not sure If i have seen Pink Floyd. I saw a giant television two giant pigs a humungous shiny ball alot of smoke and about ten tiny specks (one not so tiny) on a stage of what appeared to be something playing pink floyd tunes.
(I also saw this guy who kept handing me a funny looking cigarette and other strange things I was told to ingest which lent themselves well to the big shiny ball experience)
