 Favorite/best rock operas Personally, I am quite fond of the concept album/rock opera. I've already done a thread on concept albums, but let's do rock operas (I consider rock operas a type of concept album, but they're different than other concept albums...ie. The Wall vs. DSotM). Let's limit to top 5, eh? My choices (not exactly in order): 1. "Quadrophenia"-The Who 2. "The Wall"-Pink Floyd 3. "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"-Genesis 4. "Ziggy Stardust"-Bowie and tied for 5th (well, since there's no order, just the other slot).... -"Operation: Mindcrime"-Queensryche -"Scenes From a Memory"-Dream Theater Honorable mention: -"The Human Equation"-Ayreon -"2112"-Rush (though I don't think that quite qualifies) -"Tommy"-The Who

Yes, The Wall is incredible and amazing, but there are quite a few other equally (yes, equally, you Wall haters) incredible and amazing rock albums out there. Do yourself a favor and get Quadrophenia and The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. You'll thank me later...
