Matchbox Paranoia

I just jotted down this little ditty after coming inside after a smoke...they're getting more frequent.


It's 12 AM there's a noise outside
I'm about to go smoke it out
Friends say I'm mean, and i'm a nicotene fiend
Yeah, they must know what I'm about
But as I sit here it looks clear sitting in a chair
I'm not high, I can't die, but I still can't find fresh air

It's a rollercoaster
Contemplating nothing
But I won't say anything
If you still think I'm nothing

Open the window to head outside
My hood pulled over my head
The night lights shining in the street
Yeah, now my conscience seems dead
Every sound reeks of paranoia
Every breath burns a bit
I've searched every corner I could find
But I still don't know shit

It's a rollercoaster
Contemplating nothing
But I won't say anything
If you still think I'm nothing.

I guess this kind of sums up my highschool years so far....only one and a half left you know.
