it's a good album

this was probably MY favorite LEDZEP album...no classic,but,lots of good songs...

I remember when this album came out the critics loathed it..."harshly putting down the rock songs as more empty bomblast,the blues tunes as unprincipled thievery from real bluesmen and acoustic songs as lame pandering to the CS&N sound"...

Jimmy Page was hurt by the snub,"The third LP got a real hammering by the press and I got really brought down by it.I thought the album in total was good,but the press didn't like it,and they went on about this enigma that has blown up around us. I admit we may have made it relativly quickly,but I don't think we overplayed our hand in the press or anything.Yet we were getting all these knocks and became very dispirited. The result was we left off doing interviews for over a year."
