My tragic annecdote about making an enormous glans of myself in front of Alan Price is somewhere or other on this site. I won't repeat it again, it causes the capiliaries in my face to glow with an unnatural heat and light.

I once broke wind in a lift occupied by Michael Howard. No one knew where the smell came from!

Re: Have you ever met a famous person?

I met Adam West of Batman at a guitar show in Philly years ago as he was signin autographs for the Gretsch guitar The Penguin which was on display next to a Batmobile and had West sighning posters with them both on it. To make the story as short as i can the line was gettin small at the end of the show so i told my friends to wait as I jumped into line to get my free autograph from Batman.Well he looked up as soon as i got in line and glared at me and said "are you the last one" which I replied I was . Well within a moment a few more folks got in line to and Batman glared at me and them. Well i finally get up there and as I hand him the poster to sign I ask him " What do you think of all these Bogus Batmen around" As this was right around the time the movie w/ M.Keaton had just came out which West tried to get the role for but was told he was to old. Well He signed my Poster and nearly threw it at me he was so angry. At that I turned to see my friends laughin' there asses off. They asked Me "What did you say to piss him off so much" so I told them and they all laughed more. I still have that poster somewhere around here i think.

Re: Have you ever met a famous person?

Ha ha. That reminds me of when I met Mario Andretti at a car show where he was signing autographs. I asked him about something and he didn't say a word. Didn't even mumble something unintelligable. I thought, "what a twat!"
