My personal award goes easily to Dieci Stratagemmi by Franco Battiato, a masterpiece.

Solace by Xavier Rudd the amazingly talented, Aussie one man band

I'm not so sure about the new Air album, it's not as good as their other stuff.

cheers

Yes, I just got HTDAAB yesterday myself. I would have to agree with the "bloody great album" statement...

Vertigo is a pretty lame song, I have to say. The musical aspect of the song is alright except for the drastic transition into the post-bridge or whatever it is near the end of the song, but i'm not impressed lyrical wise. And who the heck starts their song with "uno...dos....tres.....catorse!" Anyone who counts in with the spanish equivalent of "1...2..3...14!" pretty much sounds like a dork in my opinion. From what i've heard of the new album, it sounds pretty slow and plodding most of the time, and i'm not that impressed. But hey, they're selling iPods, so I guess apparently they're doing alright!

I wouldn't say Vertigo is the best song on it, but it's a good one. Just like Beautiful Day wasn't nearly the best from ATYCLB.

Sydney...keep up the good fight!

I forgot to mention Kasabian, their self titled debut album is great.
