what does it mean?

to some of you this might be a stupid question but its bothering me. what do pinks album covers mean? i dont understand it. i mean theres a pig floating in the sky, a prism with lights going through it, a cow. also what in the world does the division bell cover mean? all kinds of crazy stuff. think someone can tell me what each album cover means (if its no trouble?)

i dont think a lot of people know this about DSOTM cover, but its the color spectrum or however u spell it. i dont know how to really explain it, because i dont fully understand it, but i think it's basically that all lights is white, and it comes out a color. thats what its showing on the cover, and the way i see animals. it's all about animals, and it uses nature in comparison to industry and capitalism. So, the pig flying is basically comparing the nature to the industry. thats how i see it, and the cow, i have no idea wtf.

The cow is probably the only cover which means nothing. The cow is just a cow, according to Storm Thorgerson. If anyone's really interested in Pink Floyd covers and artwork you should read Storm's "Mind Over Matter".
