help with these schematics please!

Okay i've been looking to get an ernie ball music man axis super sport with tremelo and piezo bridge for a long time. I'm quite confused looking at the schematics of the guitar though. I didn't even know there were mono patch cables and stereo patch cables, i just thought there was one. I'm confused with the whole 2 output thing and how exactly the piezzo pickup works. does it override the magnetic pickups?

Why figure out schematics when you can bang your head against the wall?

Re: help with these schematics please!

because figuring out the schematics is more productive.

But with the other thing you can do wall damage and head damage. Wouldn't you rather kill two birds with one stone rather than figure out how to harm one bird?

Re: help with these schematics please!

Sorry, goofball, that's not a schematic - there isn't enough information there to really tell how it works, and that's probably their intention.

I can tell you that pretty much every amp I've ever owned used mono inputs (that ranges from a Marshall down to the little 60 watt Peavey I use these days), and the only equipment I've had that used stereo patch cords was a mixing board. A variety of cables are available, of course, to let you plug into anything you want.

Stereo vs. Mono cables are simple to tell apart - the mono plugs will have one black insulator band below the tip, while stereo plugs have two. The electrical difference is that stereo cables have two signal outputs and one shield ground, while mono has only one signal and one shield.
