I've had a few of these. It should have gone to your junk mail... Don't reply to it, whatever you do. This was sent out by a program, and if you reply, then they (whoever) have proof that your particular email address exists. Delete it man. Easy as that.

Yep, it must be for sure a program. Sender and recipient adresses are the same (his - or their - one), and there's a double space between the 'Schopenhauer' name and the previous word, so it looks like a standard mail in which the name of the recipient is added.
Already trashed, without replying of course.

Naaa..they are weird. I get one from an attorney asking me to be a beneficiary for a Nigerian man's estate, in which I would receive a %20 cut for my assistance. Apparently his assets are frozen because his father, who was some sort of king, was murdered..... They are actually pretty freaky emails...delete delete!

Whenever received, you should, as I did, copy those sort of emails directly to the FBI/INTERPOL/Criminal(Fraud)/Finance Authority respectively in your area, and reply to the sender - if such a function will work - with advice of that copying.
I have never had another since.

Over the last 5 or so years, I've got at least 3 letters and 2 faxes from different Nigerian Bozos who pretended to be gov't workers who were trying to find businesses in the US to launder money for them. There were a variety of stories, but the general theme was, if I would allow them to deposit $45 million dollars in my account, I could keep 15% of it for my own.
I saw on the Discovery channel awhile back where there were actually people stupid enough to go for it.
