Untitled The child of new morning And hold it close Like soft whispers of the forgotten self Once radiant like warm sunshine Infinitely lonely I am the only shadow among men Lost and cold. It whimpers to be set free My sunshine in a box And shake off darkness Like a cloak made of innocence It's coming unravelled. Stroke the precious fabric of yesterday And embrace crystallised running water consciousness It flows forever Organic flourishes of orchestral brilliance. It carries you over the threshold Lonely and afraid Time pulls you under And you are lost in menacing darkness.

Wow. Very... Creepy, in a really good way. Shall we call it Horrifying Love at first Read?

I liked it, despite seeming a little scattered. That's ok though...the point of writing a poem is to get out your creative energies for you, and you alone. I especially enjoyed the second stanza.
