Snap out of it, Lennon is extremely overrated. I think Imagine plays a big role in this. And of course the fact that he got shot.

Your opinion, which doesn't mean shit. He has written quite a few brilliant songs, for the Beatles and solo. I'm not talking about the "hits" either.

The main thing about John Lennon is how much he actually impacted the world at the time. He completely gobalized rock and roll to an extent previously unknown.. He's incredible.
