Epiphone question

Hey guys, im thinking about buying an Epiphone LP 1956 Goldtop reissue...

I can pick one up for about a $1000(AU)..

But thing is, I dont like the look of it with the pickguard, can it eb removed?

Yes, you can remove the pickguard.. It will leave three small holes, but you can take it off.

Oh ONLY another $1000 eh?

Thats about 8 months of hard work at Macdonalds.. I dont fancy that..

But thing is, I have a nice, reall nice infact, '57 reissue strat, how can I justify purcahasing another guitar?



I really want it so bad.

That was my point. Basically, all you get for the extra grand is "Gibson" on the headstock. Pretty hard to justify when you have to watch your pennies.

ADO ol' pal, listen carefully-----you have to remember, a guy cannot have too many guitars. There's your justification.

Can the P90's be changed to anything else?

Basicallly I want the P90 sound, but I really love the looks of the LP Snowy White play on the Roger Waters Live DVD..
