Re: Dimebag Dead.....

Man, that's really nutty. What would posses someone to do something like that? I mean, Pantera does suck, but that doesn't mean ya have to do something atrocious like that...what the hell...

Not outright.
I'm not a big Heavy Metal fan, but it still is a shame that some jacka** would do such a thing.

Wow, that is really odd. Yeah, it would have been Jim Morrison's birthday. That is really weird that he died on the same day (well not year, but the month/day) as Lennon.

Re: Dimebag Dead.....

Why is it? People die all the time, every minute of every day. There's loads of us. Bound to be some intersection along the way. Bummer about the guitarist, really. But, y'know, plenty more of them kicking about, with their little mirrors and their hair. Y'know, if the guy with the gun had been savvy, he'd have waited until the inevitable reunion and got Rex and Phil, too. Shit, it's a shame he didn't get Wet Wet Wet. They were all in the same place recently. Ah well, such is life. Goodbye Mr Bag. You played guitar.

Re: Dimebag Dead.....

I was never a dimebag fan, but I hate seeing anyone murdered like that, of course.

My sympathies to his family.

Re: Dimebag Dead.....

Wow that was harsh Fixxy.

But you have a point...why are the famous and "important" people's tragedies so important, when people are raped and killed every day, and no one knows about it or cares?

Re: Dimebag Dead.....

Dimebag had several solos in Guitar World's Top 100 solos of all time (BDG was #5 with Comfortably Numb).
