I concur, Knopfler makes it sound so easy, but my God, some of his stuff is tricky. His live playing on Tunnel Of Love is just amazing. Never heard a version that didn't blow me away.

As far as the last song I played, would have been just prior to checking out the site...playing a new song I wrote on my trusty Fender Deluxe Strat. A sweet guitar. White with 3 Gold Lace Sensors and a rosewood neck.

Oh, and I was playing that funky rhythm part that Gilmour plays in Another Brick In The Wall Part II during the chorus. No matter how many times I hear that or play it, I can never get enough of it. It just screams FUNK!

Re: Last Song You Played (with an instrument)

A song I wrote on guitar... for some reason I don't enjoy playing alot of other band's music. Usually just stick to playing my own stuff.

(BTW I'm new around here. Seems like a cool site)

My own frankensteinish concoction that starts with SRV's Love Struck Baby and morphs into The Lively One's Guitar Man.

multi-instrumental are you I wish I could play the drums but I have no sense of rythm...

last song played on guitar was a poor first attempt at the confortably numb 2nd solo. I hope I'll get better. and on bass I think it was the happiest days of our lives.
