La Villa is a bitch the first few times through.. Glad to hear your working on it though.. Too many "kids" overlook Alex.. he's amazing.

Were you working on the studio track or the Live version from "Rio"?
I love his live rendition from "Rio"...
"That's Jazz.... Jazz is.....Wierd"

Speaking of Alex and the Boys.. the last song I played (last night before bed) was...

Driven....

Re: Last Song You Played (with an instrument)

I was working on the studio version. I love Rio, but its easier to learn songs by playing to the studioversions. Ill do the live ones later Alex is damn funny
Im having biggest problems with playing the intro. Its damn fast the speedypart in the intro.

Re: Last Song You Played (with an instrument)

It can be a pain...start slowly and build speed. I find it easer to break it into sections and work on each independantly. Just find the funky chord he uses and play the arpeggio a bit faster each time through.. It's essentailly a classic Lifeson series of pulloffs.. (Alex really likes pulloffs and hammers). Of course it'll sound better of you have a Hughes and Kettner amp, so run right out and get one. Grab one for me while you're at it.
