"Bourée", the Jethro Tull version, on bass and then on the flute. I can only play the flute part until it goes very high, around 40 seconds to the beginning, but still...I'm very proud of myself

The Terrapin Station Suite by the Greatful Dead..

Even though it's more of an open jam, I think we managed to capture the spirit of Jerry and Bob's original solos pretty well.

that is such a great sequence! I love playing that, the solos are just fantastic -- or at least the one particular one that I know, God knows Jerry never played anything the same twice. Also where my screenname comes from.

On that note, Im off to play Truckin. A nice challenging 12/8 to spice things up a bit.

Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence - Dream Theater

Been playing this a lot of late - some wonderful solos in there.

Within Attraction (Live at the Acropolis) by Yanni on the bass. Great bass line.

Re: Last Song You Played (with an instrument)

"Stand by Me" on guitar...I've been playing this over and over again over the last 2 weeks as it's my guitar lessons homework. The song itself is not hard at all, keeping the rythm while reading the music, tapping your feet and couting "1, 2 and 3 and 4 and..." at the same time is another story
I've told my teacher that it's nearly impossible to teach me anything about rythm but I think it's getting somewhere.

Something involving D, G, F and F#. It didn't sound that well.
