I have purchased the Dark Side DVD and have watched it repeatedly. I think it's totally fasinating. This is a magical moment in time. The band members, engineer, producer, and additional musicians all came together in an eruption of creativity that seldom happens. What an incredible peice of music.

I doubt anyone would know this (apart from the makers of the documentary) but whats the deal on the dsotm dvd with no discussion of Any Colour You Like at all?

I can understand on the doco that was broadcast there are time considerations and after Speak To Me, ACYL would be the next to drop off, but there isnt even anything in the bonus material!

as far as I know or can guess, Any Colour was pretty much the band's one jam session on the entire piece. You know, after all the very detailed structure they needed at least something free-form for themselves.

Yeah, anyway a little bit of comment on the subject would have been appreciated I think.

There's a DSOTM Dvd? Why hasn't anybody mentioned it on here before?

I haven't heard of an actual dvd of DSotM either. I know about the one interviewing the band, but not an official dvd of the album.

It's a crime that the swift should be held back by the slow, and it's criminal that nothing is going to rectify it.

ACYL is crap anyway... it's almost the same chord progression as Breathe, but with no lyrics. So there's no point in presenting an acoustic version, and what else is there to say about it?

Thats bollocks ACYL is perhaps the best song on the album. You have no taste.
