No title yet.

Walk under the free sun,
with a badge and a gun,
and write the words to a song,
and we'll all sing along.

Don't question them my friend,
they've reached the beginning of their end,
and when time is no more,
there'll be nothing left to die for.

Wait,
does it have to end this way,
break off in a sprint,
and try to catch the new day.
Stop,
you don't wanna do that now,
hold onto our dreams,
and we'll show you just how.

Passing by the sunny skies,
waiting to finsh all the goodbies,
so when your ship is cast out,
you hope you didnt leave anyone out.

Ocean blue has a stormy haze,
that blows through the mid-day's daze,
and are we able to weather the storm,
should we go back and wait until morn.

Go,
into the breaking light,
where the sun hits the edge,
of the horizons light,
Break,
free from the the morning frost,
and runs for the hills,
but try not to get lost.

A work-in-progress. Any thoughts?

I like it. It could probably use a little polishing, but I can't really help ya there. I enjoyed the second and last stanza the best.

Oh, and I could imagine hearing this to music...perhaps a Fearless-esqe style?

Since everyone seems to be listing their favourite stanzas, mine are the 4th and 5th. Nice job, by the way.

not really a critisizm, but an observation. poems that rhyme generally hold some sort of a scheme. your's breaks a bit here, but i like your images. keep on!

Very good. A Touch up here or there to make it flow a little more nicely is all you truly need. I like it much. Good job!
