Secret Machines

Has anyone heard of this band?

I've got too much music to buy at the mo, so I can't check them out. I was just wondering what people thought of them, apparently they're very good.

I've heard the hype, but when I saw them live I was quickly bored. This may not reflect how they sound in the studio, however.

What type of music do they play?

They play kind of spacey-rock. Maybe some Pink Floyd influence. They are pretty mediocre from what I've seen/heard live, but their album is worth the buy. "Nowhere Again" "First Wave Intact" and "Sad and Lonely" are good.

I was intrigued by their Krautrock influence, but they got old rather fast. They show some promise for something good though.
