Spinal Tap

Has anybody seen the movie "This is Spinal Tap"? Its comedy/documentary about a fading British rock group(fictional)touring in America trying to promote there latest album "Smell the Glove". This is a pretty good movie which my friend actually recomended to me.

I don't think Almost Famous is anything close to Spinal Tap, other than being about music. Spinal Tap makes fun of music and stereotypes rock bands from everything to complaining about the backstage food, getting lost trying to find the stage, the fued between the David and Nigel. It's all done in a very subtle but sarcastic way. My all-time favorite movie.

I have heard and watched the mock rockumetary.

Nice little piece of humourous work there.

Spinal Tap is great, but a tad overrated.

Spinal Tap is great. A must-see for classic rock fans. It is 20 years old, so cut it some slack.

Anyway, it's much better than "Almost Famous". A F was OK, but forgettable.

The deleted scenes on the DVD are also quite nice...
