The measure of a great Floyd album

Lately I've been making some tapes for the car of Floyd music and been picking the best tracks from each album to add to the tapes.

Once I got to OBC, though, it became increasingly harder after that point forward to slice up the albums, until, finally, i couldn't at all. Once I got to TFC, it became easy up through TDB.

Got me thinking....that's a good way to measure the greatness of a Floyd album: When you cannot break up the album or remove tracks because they're all so essential to each other or so consistently good.

I find that, from OBC until The Wall, very little if anything can be cut out of the albums...and i ended up putting all of these, in full, on the tapes.

Do you agree?
