Imagine Gilmour playing on a Collins album, that would move his music into an entirely different universe.

I'd love to see that. Phil has worked with many other well-known artists in the past on his solo albums, so it's not all that difficult to imagine. Clapton has played with collins, as has Sting and others. Gilmour might not be an impossiblity, although improbable.

I think you'll find it's just Dave who isn't interested (Roger doesn't count of course) but I reckon Nick and Rick would jump at the chance to record and tour again under the Floyd banner.
