Atom Heart Mother, obviously.

As much as I like Syd's music, what came after his departure was better and greater.
I can understand why the band members dislike AHM, it's not a perfect album and it could have been way much better, but it is nonetheless a great album.

i dont know, Atom Heart Mother Suite is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs of all time, but thats really the only reason i like Atom Heart Mother. Piper at has Astronomy Domine, Flaming, and Lucifer Sam. I would have to go with Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

Piper is one of the most amazing psychedelic albums ever recorded, with Astronomy Domine being high above other psychedelic music at the time. The album is very unique and innovative, even though some of the songs sound like hippie-child fairy tales. I'm not that big of a fan of Interstellar Overdrive beyond the first few minutes, but it's brave of them to actually commit it to vinyl. If there was a choice between Piper or AHM to be preserved for all time in a vault, my choice would go to Piper. Although the AHM Suite is probably their greatest achievement of their career, the rest of the tunes aren't as stellar as the ones on Piper.

That's easy....AHM. The only song that doesn't awe me on that is Alan's Psychedellic Breakfast.

PATGOD, on the other hand, is good, but it's fairly immature. I see as more of a "fun" listen than anything else.

I'd go Piper overall (except for Bike grrrr) but AHM is a great peice of psychadelia just not a fan of the middle songs except fat old sun isn't to bad.

Atom Heart Mother, Atom Heart Mother, Atom Heart Mother. I've just been reunited with it, and it satisfied me more than ever before.
