uhhh, that's really really tough, i'd have to say atom heart mother, because i love every song on it, and Us and Them inst the greatest, along with Any Colour you like

A. Atom Heart Mother really isn't a great album, it only has Atom Heart Mother Suite
B. You're talking about DSOTM, by far one of Pink Floyd's best albums, ever. The songs so seamlessly form together to create the greatness that is Dark Side. Atom Heart Mother doesn't do that at all.

I'm definately going to go with dark side.

This is a bit of a silly thread. I mean, AHM is a very excellent peice, but against DSotM, it doesn't stand very well. Lyrically, DSotM is dominating, obviously, and probably musically as well.

C'mon, let's get a real thread going..."Which is worse, AMLoR or Ummagumma (studio)?"

Atom Heart Mother Suite is amazing and the rest of the album is good, but not amazing IMO so I pick Dark Side, simply because the songs flow so well into each other and the lyrics are some of the best written. I pick Dark Side out of the 2 albums

But I REALLY like Atom Heart Mother. It's a nice piece of whimsy, infused with the last residue to the psychedelic Barrett years.
The title track especially is brilliant - certainly one of my favourites.

Don't be sorry, it was interesting. I like these kind of album vs. album threads, especially off-the-wall ones(no pun intended)

Mm, I like threads about album vs. album when the albums are similar (like More and OBC), but these threads are more interesting.

Man I am at a crossroads on this one....hm, might have to go with AHM.
