lota, just curious, where did you get your copy, how detailed is the cover and back, and do you have 5.1 surround?

I purchased a copy through Amazon about 2 weeks ago. It actually came from an individual, kind of Amazons version of E-bay. It came brand new in plastic and the dvd case was in mint condition. I have only seen about half of it but so far the quality has been satisfactory. My only ? would be if the original is on the technology that was available at the time whats the big upside to waiting for it from the band. I mean they live in castles now so if its a $ thing I'm kinda confused...

The original is going to come in a deluxe 2 disc set. This is evidence of the quantity of special contents we are going to get. Plus, the video will be digitally restored and the 5.1 sorround mixing has been engineered by David Gilmour himself. The band wants the DVD to be the ultimate experience in terms of a video concert.

Now on the other hand you have a porting from VHS and a sorround (?) mix probably made in half a day...
But, whatever floats your boat, mate.

The best looking "P*U**S*E* DVD!!!1" I have seen is just a direct copy of the laserdisc. So you're better off getting the laserdisc if you're desperate.

Strangely, it seems plenty of ripoffs end up on Amazon. A bootleg DVD of Nirvana - "Live! Tonight! Sold Out!" was advertised at some point.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there, actually.

Roger's "Berlin 1990" concert is the only watchable recording out there. The rest look like they were filmed from behind a thick curtain of haze.
