i need a die hard floyd expert to help me here. I just recieved the excellent BBC concert from 1970, where Floyd played "If". What I want to know is if this is the same version that can be found on Total Eclipse. The liner notes for the latter say it is, but it sounds as if the two versions are different. Is this true, or is my hearing going bad?

I do and you are correct, it's the same performance. Possibly a different mix though (there are many different masters of the Paris Theatre BBC sessions about, far too many for me to keep track of).
