You may or may not have noticed this, and it may have already been pointed out, but if you look at the back of the case of "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" and look real hard at the trees in the background of the man rowing a boat, you'll see the word SYD spelled out. Spooky, huh?

I think I see what you mean. I doubt this is intentional, though. Subliminal message? Who knows....

Okay, fair enough. Look behind the little man in the boat and into that row of trees behind him. I reccomend looking at the CD casing. In the trees, there are dark lines that spell SYD.

Looks to me like the long line for the Y is on the wrong side of the letter. Still, I wouldn't put it past Storm to add a little something to the pic

Holy shhhhit! Looks like they painted it on in Photoshop. Maybe that's who the man in the boat/on the bed is supposed to represent (a long shot, but... maybe).

In Syd's case shouldn't it be "A Quite Long Lapse of Reason"??

After 15 years I cannot see anything myself. Not SYD nor dark lines. Perhaps it's a difference between American and European editions.

Must be 'cause Syd in a momentary lapse of reason in '68 suggested his mates to recruit in the band Dave

Anyway, I've got the vinyl and in the only pic of the man rowing I can't see that

and I'd really like if A Talking Head would be back

I can see what you mean...It would kindof make sense, considering if you look around on a couple of the pictures in the booklet, you'll see some people with mirrors...maybe they're trying to get at "reflecting" memories of Syd.
