No, Claire Torrie (spelled right, I think) whispers "I was never afraid of dying." People seem to get that line confused all the time...maybe it's just my SACD version of it that makes it so clear...

Mabye to you Glass Onion has no meaning but to one of the Beatles it has a major meaning. So don't make any "grand sweeping statements."
It's meaning is that it has no meaning. Lennon admitted this. Gerald has it right.

actually doesnt the singer say "if you can hear this you are dying"? or something to that nature. you have to listen VERY carefully cause it's whispered but it's kinda very creepy.
It's "I never said I was frightened of dying," but not Clare Torry saying it.

I believe it is the same man who said "There is no dark side..." and "Give em a short sharp shock..."

No, it's the same woman who says "that geezer was cruisin' for a bruisin'" at the end of Money.

Re: A 15 year olds view. Might stun people.

"I never said I was frightened of dying, Why should I be, its gonna happen one day might as well face it straight." Well thats what im hearing. And further more into instrumentals, they have been inspired by something therefore must have some sort of meaning to the person who wrote it, you dont know what the songwriter may have meant but, depends how u wanna look at it for yourself. Like the song On the Run, every time i hear it to me it means or is pictured as an insane man driving a train of despair and insanity toward a low confidence and fragile person on the run. It all depends if u wanna see something has meaning or not. I like instrumentals cause it has no lyrics to claim the meaning of the tune, you can listen to it and say i see it as this or whatever. Instrumentals are cool .

Gerry Driscoll ("there is no dark side" guy) says: "And I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime." But later the girl says "I never said I was frightened of dying."

Re: A 15 year olds view. Might stun people.

You know I should really write a FAQ or something. I wouldn't have to hang out here as much.
