I was walking out of the music store where i get all my gear and stuff, and i looked on the ground and there was 20$.I thought i was dreaming.Nobody was around , so i just pocketed it.

If you have a story like this tell it and how much you found.

I found a penny heads up yesterday. It was a religious experience.

Re: Finders Keepers

a friend found a $100 once.. apparently.. if you turn it into the police.. and no one claims it for a certian amount of time, it does actually become your property.

cheers

Re: Finders Keepers

Happened once while I was vacationing in Montreal. My sister and I were strapped for cash when lo and behold a 20 appeared before us. I swiftly grabbed it as I walked along in one fell swoop. I don't think anyone noticed.

Re: Finders Keepers

I once found a little amount of marijuana which i used for my own purposes. And i once found a cocaine package with the unevitable white powder in it. We were all afraid to take it because we didn't know what it was it didn't smell like cocaine at all in fact it didn't smell like anything. So after it laying on the table for quite a while, i lost some stupid bet i wish not too speak of again. So the decision was made i had to take the first line.

Ah the good ol' days...

Re: Finders Keepers

I've actually found $20 on four different occasions. I guess I'm lucky. By the way, every time I spent it on beer.

Re: Finders Keepers

I found 20 bucks one time and I picked it up and loudly proclaimd "woohoo I found 20 bucks!!" Right after I said that this man walked up to me saying he had lost 20 bucks and although I know he was lying I gave it to him and he gave me like a 5 dollar bill back....

Damn bastard

Re: Finders Keepers

TOP TIP

Keep a notebook containing all the serial numbers of each bill/note you recieve. That way if you lose one, you can check with passers by as to whether they have it in their possession!

TOP TIP

Mark each coin you recieve in your change with a spot of luminous paint. That way if you lose one, you can check with passers by whether they have it in their possession!
