For the Rush fans on the board

This site plays Rush songs all the time. Cool to listen to while on your computer. They play a lot of obscure live stuff too for the more hard core fans

I can't listen to Rush. The Vocals grind on my spine/ears.

You may want to have your spine/ears checked

The vocals aren't really that horrible...I know you listen to AC/DC and Smashing Pumpkins...if you can tolerate those vocals, then Rush should be no problem.

Thanks for posting that, I will have to check it out. Do you post at Tri-Net by chance? I am happy to see another hard-core Rush fan on here, hopefully the close mindedness of others wont disuade anyone from posts such as this. I watched Pulse and Rush in Rio back to back X-Mas night. It was the best Christmas since I was 12!

I'm with you, Cerpin. I can't stand that guy's vocals, he sounds like a yipping chihuahua! The drummer is amazing though, but that doesn't save them from playing really long series of power chords over yelping for 20 minutes.

I like Rush although I can't say they are one of my favourites. After a few songs I get tired of Geddy Lee's voice. And I agree with doctor_how that Neil Peart (the drummer) is amazing.

Er, if that's what you think Rush is, then they're definitely not the group for you.

In Toronto? Was he mobbed? Did anyone else recognize him?

Yes in Toronto. That's where I live. And no, he wasn't mobbed. He was actually just getting groceries like a normal human being.

I saw Colin Mocherie at the Chapters on Bloor Street last week. He was wearing a baseball cap to blend in.
