| Ya i have studied barrett for a while and everything you said is true but i have no idea what you mean by r&b shuffle, and do u by chance know anything about how he made up the solo of astronomy domine. |

| No, but it's far too coherent a musical statement to have been made up on drugs. Shuffle refers to the 12/8 time signature, but more broadly it means any "swung" tempo. And r&b = rhythm and blues. |
