Guitar selling difficulties

I went into 2 of my local music shops and i wanted to see how much $ i could get for my 2 guitars. One is a year old great condishon epiphone g-310 sg.The other is a standard Squire which is about 2 years old also in pretty good condishon.I paid over 300$ for these guitars combined and they offered me 75$ for them both.Is it me or where these people trying to rip me off?

I don't know much about the Epi, but I did not even manage to sell my Squier at all. Not even for 16$ (roughly caculated from Norwegian krones).

Why don't you try to sell them on Ebay or something? Perhaps you can get some more money there...

No offense, but it's because those guitars are not good guitars. I would pay more than 75$ for them both, but it'd just be so I could smash them or burn them or something.

From my (admittedly limited) knowledge of guitars, those don't seem like good models - but $75 for both of them is ridiculous. Trade-in shops will always try and rip you off though, beware.
