Tsunami

R.I.P. all the people that were killed in the Tsunami. I know I'm really lucky that my grandma (who's in India right now) wasn't killed in it. I feel really bad for everyone who's had a family member that died in it.

Re: Tsunami

If I wasn't as reasonable as I am I'd ban your arse in an instant for saying that!
Quite frankly, with an attitude like that, I'd rather it was you than them!
RIP to all those lost souls. Lets hope they find their way. It is up to the people and gov'ts of countries like Aus and the US to now get of their arses and send relief, as swiftly as possible. The last thing this region needs now is an outbreak of disease.

cheers

Re: Tsunami

Sounds like a "sourpuss" to me!

I've see the reported death toll rise and rise over the last few days and it's mindblowing how many people are dying over there, not to mention who will die from the diseases. With terrorists ravaging lands, their effect is minute compared to the wrath of mother nature. Maybe she's just sick of all the crap going on nowadays.....

Indeed.

I see France has chipped in a whopping $136,000.

what I hate is that the UN and international council imeditily turn to America and ask what we're going to do to help....I mean c'mon it's understandable we should help, but bashing our president(he is dumb a f*** don't get me wrong) because it took him 3 days to address a statement about it...

we should be asking them what are you going to do to help us?

Re: Tsunami

There's a special on ABC right now. I think. Maybe it's CBS? I get them all confused anyway.

If our country was run with common sense, we wouldn't need any.

Re: Tsunami

Agreed..saying that America needs help right now, is totally selfish, but I'm not going to get involved in this now. I don't hate America and its people, despite contrary belief, but this is not the place to talk about that anyway. However, the fact that Bush didn't release a statement for three days is totally disgraceful.

Meanwhile, I have an entire $35 to my name which I need to pay my phone bill and feel totally useless that I can't provide any help.

cheers
