They both suck...my opinion, for what it's worth.

I'm not a big fan of either, but i'm leaning more towards NIN because they have a more interesting sound, and were brave enough to be a keyboard dominated band in the guitar oriented 90s.

I NIN. Nine Inch Nails' Toronto concert in 2000 was the first rock show I ever saw live (and A Perfect Circle opened for them)!

Tool are also superlatively fantastic, but nothing comes close to the ingenious production skill of M. Trent Reznor. His lyrics sometimes aren't as good as Maynard Keenan's, but the fact that Reznor plays almost all of the instruments himself and has such complete control of his art blows me away.

"With Teeth" is the title of the new NIN album, they just finished it yesterday according to nin.com, and a tour is scheduled for the spring.

I can't wait!

It always makes me smile when a Rush fan has the nerve to put any other band down.

Tool is better

Tool is better than NIN but NIN is a close race in that they were very ground breaking in sound and video. Reznor does do all the instruments for albums in the studio. The band is just for touring.
