| Re: Where do The DSOTM and THE WALL rank as the Greatest Selling Albums? I was just wondering if anyone could tell me for sure. I've heard so many different things I would like to know the truth. Also, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where Floyd ranks as The Greatest selling bands.

| Re: Where do The DSOTM and THE WALL rank as the Greatest Selling Albums? In my heart : DSOM = No 1 The Wall = No 3 And Floyd sure as hell beat the rest. A close runner up for me would be the irrepresibile Jim Morrison and The Doors and the German band The Scorpions

| Re: Where do The DSOTM and THE WALL rank as the Greatest Selling Albums? That's weird I heard 40 million--so far. I've have Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors", and have heard The Beatles and Michael Jackson's albums that rank above DSOTM, and none of them come close to Pink Floyd's brilliance. :grin: |

It had been consecutively on the charts for 591 weeks (from 18 December 1976 to 23 April 1988). After this, Billboard changed the rules so that once an album dropped from the charts, it could not re-enter.
