| Re: a momentary abundance of mushrooms is it just me, or does gilmour's 'a momentary lapse of reason' sound like he was on 'shrooms when he wrote it? with the exception of the god-aweful 'dogs of war', the lyrics and even sounds have a sort of shaman influence to them. 'learning to fly'? have you ever seen the video to that? the whole 'new machine' thing about him being tired of looking through his own eyes? the lyrics read like a trip: "Across the clouds I see my shadow fly Out of the corner of my watering eye A dream unthreatened by the morning light Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night There's no sensation to compare with this Suspended animation, A state of bliss Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I" i dunno. what do y'all think? do you know what im talking about? this might not aply to all of you, just those in a certain mindset. maybe im just crazy. (and can we NOT turn this into a 'waters vs gilmour' debate? please?) also, you should be aware that mark, aka fixxlevy, smokes crack now. thank you.

| Re: a momentary abundance of mushrooms Ahem...I think YOU should lay off the crack for a while. Gilmour on 'shrooms? At his age? And just to make sure everybody is aware, I think, in truth, fixxlevy does NOT actually smoke or use crack. 'twatty was really only kidding but forgot the or j/k. Too much crack perhaps. Floyd on! Byron "Just thought you'd like to know."

| Re: a momentary abundance of mushrooms About LTF--nah. Mr. Gilmour flies for a hobby, so that would probably be quite literal, though I think that isn't ALL there is to it--see a thread titled "Terminal Frost" for my theories there...
