Which Pedal?

I'm deciding between an Ibanez TS9, and a Boss Blues Driver. Which do you prefer and why?

cmon for god sakes people reply he wants opinions, i say get the Blues Driver because it has a warmer and fuzzier tone than teh TS9. It is great to get those old vintage distortion sounds.

Does it have to be between those 2 pedals? Ever think of trying the TS808 Reissue? Yeah, it's $160 but it is the real thing. It is THE pedal that has been used by so many big name artists on so many actual recordings. If you're looking for that classic, fat, warm tone, there are lots of pedals out there that can get you close, but the real thing is the TS 808. It IS that classic, fat, warm tone.

I would recommend the Blues Driver for sure!
Don't let that Boss logo scare you! definitely the best pedal they've ever made!
If you're looking for a boost for your cleans, like Dave's EMG pickups or a really fat overdrive, you should definitely buy this one!

PS. I've posted some soundclips on my page where you can check out the BD. Listen to Fat Old Sun

Cheers

Re: Which Pedal?

I'd go with the blues driver FOR SURE. You can't go wrong with Boss! My whole rack is all Boss. They are so reliable and easy to tweak... plus that blues driver sounds incredible. Try it! And if you dont like it, dont buy it
