What?

Oh yeah. Warm PFfanNet welcome and greetings to you, Dr Cheese.

Which1'sPink: I have stopped greeting new members because when they join now, the board itself welcomes them and mine would be redundant.

Re: Pink Floyd tour 2003

I think the 8th is a fairly recent edition , I'm not sure what the age range is but some of them must be fairly grown up - at least I would hope they are!!

I think the eighth Gilmour child may not even have been born yet; correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Pink Floyd tour 2003

I was about to mention that...

BTW, Dr. Cheese, I know your previous forum did not have this, but there's an edit-post feature you can use here, so you don't have to reply to yourself to correct an error.

Okay, FWr,

How do you know the Doctor's previous forum didn't allow post edits?

Come on, spill it!

Re: Pink Floyd tour 2003

I used to use the "official" forum until it degenerated into a pointless free-for-all of meaningless posts and general crap. It's fairly basic compared to this one but it used to be good to just jump in and out of
Now though there's just no point as the Floyd content is virtually zero

Re: Pink Floyd tour 2003

How? Well, I think the answer should be obvious! I was there, for a little while...until it headed straight down the tubes, that is.

Yes, this is definitely a proper forum, Dr Cheese. In fact, you had the luck to join right after Mr. Dallagnol upgraded to some of THE very best forum software there is. I still haven't even found all the neat bells and whistles yet!

Although I was actually a visitor to the other board, from here. I've been here for ages! (So it seems.)

The baby was due in April, to the best of my knowledge - and Polly looked roughly five months or so along when I saw her in January, so...

Well, we're still waiting to hear if she's come along, yet.

With the addition of this little girl, David will have eight children - four boys, four girls: Alice, Sarah, Claire, Matthew, Charlie (Polly's son, the one on Division Bell after "High Hopes"...), Gabriel, and Joe... :-o

As I have speculated before, I do believe that David is planning on populating his own island somewhere...

I would like to volunteer my services in populating said island, should the need, erm, ah... "arise"... (Not that the world really needs more folks like me...perhaps that just wouldn't be wise?)

I could be incorrect, however, as the painkillers for my ankle might be messing with me mind... LOL

Cheers!

(I apologise for any disturbing images that this post may cause unsuspecting readers. Please know this was not my intention - but I just can't help myself, really!)

Exactly. It was so important in 1987 so they could totally cash in before not doing any new music for 7 years. Than, in '94 they really cashed in and Gilmour doesn't even create new music anymore. Now do you get what the reunion in '87 was about? Certainly not music. The reason Waters stopped after Amused to Death is because he finally made a great solo album and NOBODY CARED! He lost money on the KAOS tour of the states. How long can he put on spectacular shows without support? I'm talking about the guy that thought up the Pig and the Wall and the big circular screen, here.
