who plays the solo?


One of the most touching solos I`ve ever heard.

Not counting Gilmour`s work offcourse.

It's played by Jeff Beck, i thought that was a well known fact? And it is indeed a brilliant solo. One of my all time favourites perhaps.

Well, How could I have found out that?

It doesn`t say on the album cover?


maybe it`s me beeing an ass, because I just had an chat with my brother, and he said right away that it was this Mr. Beck.

It probably says it in various places in the cd jacket. Beck did most if not all of the electric guitar stuff on the album if i remember correctly. And watchin tv waters is singing with don henley from the eagles

But he isn't the lead singer you see with The Eagles nowadays is he?

its true i'm under the impression that jeff beck does the solo. when it came out i was in my dentists who always had floyd led zep or similar bands on while he pulled your teeth out n played guitar between extractions anyway he said it was jeff beck! i could have just said yeah its jeff beck!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you remember the tooth extraction when you listen to the solo? that must be pretty awful...

Jeff Beck's work on ATD is amazing. I love his tone, I love his style, I love how he leaves space in all the right places. I wish Roger and Jeff would team up again for Roger's new material. Or maybe I should just start listening to Jeff Beck...
