At present I don't have the beats and pieces for online play, so am content to while away the hours on the 'battlefields' setting, one on one against a Helghast bot on the beach head.

You should really invest in the network adaptor and what not...the online play is what really makes Killzone stand out.

Any Halo 2 players in here? I'm all about some Halo 2.

I've been a huge gamer since about 96. Whenever Quake 1 came out, I was hooked. Absolutely HATE Counterstrike, though. I agree with Dr. Cheese completely.

Half Life 1 > Half Lfe 2, yet both had ridiculously lame endings. I bought Half Life 1 when it came out, played it maybe 40 times (all the way through, that is). It is top 3 of all time, easily. Half Life 2, I bought, beat in 3 days, and care nothing about playing ever again. It was neat, but nowhere near what the hype claims.

Starcraft! Simon, you wanna try a game sometime? Brood War addon?

Ooh I'm big on Starcraft too. But I haven't been able to play it for a while...I lent it to a friend, and he returned it to me in 4 peices. I would buy another copy, but they are impossible to find around here.

same here, i never play games for pc since all the pcs ive ever owned are complete garbage. im horrible at mouse and keyboard setups, too. i can do wonderful things with a halo 2 sniper rifle, however.

I'm usually digging the close quarters combat in Halo 2. I only use the sniper rifle when absolutely necessary.

I forgot to mention another grip with Counterstrike earlier: I dislike the whole idea of pointing my gun at something, pulling the trigger, and never hitting the aforementioned something I was aiming at.

Halo 1 and 2 are very overrated. Nice games but nothing more.

I have that network stuff laying around all i have to do is get it to work then get Killzone and we could play together, perhaps.

BTW it's good to see a Dutch game could satisfy someone on the other side of the ocean. This is the first game Dutch game released which isn't crap.

I'm into videogames since Namco released Pac Man (at least) that is a lot of time. I've always been a console player, my first game system being the Atari 2600. I currently own a Gamecube and a red Gameboy Advance SP. My favourite games are the ones of The Legend Of Zelda saga, Beyond Good And Evil is the most underrated game on any system ever, I'm definitely not into FPS and I can beat everyone of you at Pro Evolution Soccer.
