Vice City and San Andreas are waaaay better than 3, so you might want to give them a try.

i did...i mean i like how in 3 u can keep the weapons...but in vice city & stuff u can't...like get a knife with a mashettie

Well, you should still try San Andreas, you'll forget all about 3.

Yeah, I hear that game's killer. I'll probably try to rent that in the next batch.

At the moment though, I've been really into Saint's Row (next gen GTA knock off that's actually quite good).

Scarface, not another GTA clone, there are some very original concepts in this one. Although it does get pretty boring after you get pretty far.

I've been playing Rockstar's latest offering: Bully (or Canis Canem Edit, as it is in the UK), and it really is enormous fun. Much less violent than GTA (naturally), but it is much more satisfying in many ways...

I heard it gets repetitive after a while, but is still a good game. I've yet to play it, myself.

That's because Vice City has a wider range of weapons than GTAIII, and you can't carry them all.

A little bit, but the same is true of any GTA.

I dunno - I've played San Andreas so much I've more or less everything there is to do. After a while, it just gets a bit dull.

I haven't played it in so long, I want to again. My PS2 assed out when I was on the last mission, so I had to finish it at a friend's.

You're basically saying it got old because you played an insane amount. Anything you play will get old if you play that much. I assure you that San Andreas has a much longer lasting appeal that Bully. I'm not saying that Bully is a bad game, just that you shouldn't say that it gets repetitive like GTA.
