70's Southern Rock

I grew up listeneing to his stuff. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, Blackfoot, Elvin Bishop, Henry Paul Band, Charlie Daniels Band, to name a few. I also cut my guitar playing teeth copying this miusic. I still love it and still listen to it. Anyone else like this stuff?

Re: 70's Southern Rock

I like skynyrd. I went to a "fake skynyrd" concert in '03 (2 members skynyrd, 4 other guys). It was still good.

Sounds like we grew up listening to and playing the same stuff.. I listened to all those guys.. (Yes, even Henry). Add to that list The Pure Prarie League, Ted Nugent, Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen and The Eagles and you'd pretty much hit about half of my album collection in highschool.

Cool stuff.
